WordPress 2.9 not showing up in Google search results

I started PocketMoneyBlogger on 1rst January, my site is hosted on WordPress Web hosting at Hostgator . I was tied up with other WordPress sites so i am not visiting here regularly, i noticed that my site is not showing up in Google searches. I find this very ironical but this is first time i am using a fresh new WordPress 2.9 installation, things have changed little bit when i used to run WordPress 2.6 and 2.7 sites.

When i searched for my site name on Google , bing and yahoo i didn’t see pocketmoneyblogger.com.Two common search criteria to find your site listing in search engines are :

site:www.site.com

allinurl:www.site.com

I have not installed the any plugins on pocketmoneyblogger, one of the most userful wordpress plug-in is”

I have read success story on sitemap plug-in, it helps search engine to crawl your site in a very efficient manner.The new version of Google sitemap WordPress plug-in i installed on pocketmoneyblogger is Version 3.22, this WordPress plug-in is getting smarter, you will know in a second why. The moment i activate sitemap plugin a message popped up on top saying

You site is currently enabled to be searched by Search Engine , Click here to make it Searchable

I clicked on next where it took me to WordPress Privacy setting, when i noticed the Privacy setting was set to “block search Engine and allow normal visitors”, i used the second option to make my site Searchable by google, bing and Yahoo.
